This was really hard to choose a picture as we had a bad storm but the aftermath was magnificent. I chose this one because I find it amazing that there was one lone berry hanging on for dear life that still remains fully intact. It kind of represents the strength that my son shows everyday and the strength that I have to encourage him and fight for him each and every moment of his life.

I added some more blue highlights because I thought it brought out the blue berry and it also gave the picture a cool wintry feel. Trust me it is cold. We had a snow/ice/rain storm and all of our trees are covered in ice. As I ventured I saw this lone berry and couldn't help but capture it's beauty.

Wordless Wednesday

I think this post is inspired by the fact that while it is beautiful outside I am totally sick of the snow, ice, rain, and below freezing temps. Please bring back Spring, oh and let there be school again soon. 

I have things to do too ya know. Things like housework that will actually remain clean and dishes that will stay clean for at least an hour. I like seeing the living room floor and I enjoy having at least 5 minutes without hearing the words, "Mommy I want..." The children have not been in school since last Friday and well, 

we are looking at another storm that is due to hit us on Friday. 

Grrr..... I wish the snow would just STOP FUCKING WITH ME. Not only do I have to deal with the children being home, but hopefully tomorrow they will go to school and then I have the transition to school with my son. He doesn't do well with change so.... It should be fun.

Watery Wednesday

This week with as much snow, rain and ice fall we have had I am sure I can give you some nice pics. I am not a cold weather gal but I have tried to get some decent shots even though the children have been home all week.

And now to add some warmth to all that cold..
